My very first gifted baby!!! I can’t believe I finally own a monstera!!!!! Very new to plants but this beautiful lady has been on my mind for a while! Welcome home big momma

    Have fun with it!! Put a trellis in the pot and tie the stems to it so you can kinda straighten them out. I mean you don't HAVE TO yet..

    Should I wait till they grow a little taller or should I go ahead and do it because I’m also deathly afraid that my cats are gonna hurt her or eat the longest leave.. they like torturing me like that. Will that encourage her to grow a little taller or just support?

      It will do both suppot it AND encourage her to grow upright. Can you put it someplace where your cats can't get to it. I believe Monsteras are poisonous to cats.

    You can do it whenever you want really. I think they looks nicer when their on a trellis or moss pole.

    Omg thank you and yes she’s in a little makeshift humidity zone that’s closed away from them! And I’ll definitely think of doing that this weekend then to make make sure I’m doing everything right for her to grown as big as her heart desires! Thank you so much!

    So I had to put them in water because the root rot was just too bad. I checked them because the leaves were really droopy and I was concerned and I was right… hopefully with just prayer and some loves she’ll be fine
