Hi all! I recently got 2 monstera cuttings. 1 mini one (in the little jar) and 1 bigger one. They are my first monsteras. They look kinda sad to me but I’m no expert. Any and all tips are appreciated! Right now I have them sitting in water. I don’t change the water out, I just top it up whenever the app tells me to. Are they easier to take care of in dirt?
My grandmother and her grandmother before her strongly trusted in ‘the trimming technique’ all you have to do is keep taking your plant out of the pot and when you do so cut one root off. This should be done twice a month and your monstera should be looking absolutely lush x

I’ve never heard of this technique before. I’m intrigued! Wouldn’t removing it and trimming roots so frequently distress the plant?
