Hello! This is my first time having monstera plants & I’m wondering if the bending of the leaves is normal? I keep them out on my balcony in the shade and I watered them once after having them for a week. The picture of them together is the day I got them and individual ones are today. Please let me know your thoughts! (I’m worried)
curly leaves on a monsterra typically means they need more humidity. are you in a dry area?
0件のいいね It says 52% humidity today so I think that’s relatively normal? Not too dry not too humid
0件のいいね hmm. did you notice them curling after you brought them home, or was it like that in the store too? ultimately its not a huge worry, but it does make them look a little funky sometimes 😂
0件のいいね I actually got them from my mom’s garden! A larger monstera she propagated became these guys haha. They had slight curls but I’m more worried about the bend from their stems, they seem to be drooping a little
0件のいいね oh cool!! personally i dont see anything majorly wrong with them right now, everything looks green and good :)

I have one outside that looks like that too. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why. I have changed its soil, changed its pot, and added nutrients to the soil. Nothing has made it look better. The roots are long and beautiful, so I don’t know. I am starting to wonder if maybe it is just too hot for it outside (I had it indoors before the summer started).
0件のいいね Oh no! It is pretty hot in California in the summer so maybe that’s why mine are doing that too
0件のいいねMine do this with age and not enough water even once and they’ll be stuck
