I have a philodendron Xanadu that’s NEVER supposed to flower in a home setting, only in the tropics. BUT, I have a flower forming. I think she likes her location😊. Fave time of the year.

Love that for you! Crazy how a pole to climb makes them thrive. Same with my philodendron. It’s wild. They LOVE IT.

LeafyGreenhouseYes aerial roots can progress / form overnight, usually this is due to the plants focus point of growth shifting so instead of leaves it’s working/ putting energy to the aerial root

Would it make sense for this to happen almost immediately (day or two) after I gave her a bamboo pole to climb? When you said shift the growth point… sounds like yes?

Yes, when the plant shifts it’s energy they can produce aerial roots faster
