my monstera albo just put out its first new leaf since i bought it in january!!! it’s so pretty, ive never had a monstera this small before - is it normal for new leaves to be so small in comparison to the other leaves? i’m also a little worried about how high the variegation is on the plant but it’s gorg soooo 🤷♀️

It might get a little larger as it hardens off, but it could just be the stress from acclimating to a new home. Make sure you give it a lot of bright, INDIRECT light (indirect is key- direct sun will scorch those pretty white leaves) and a lot of humidity so you don’t get too much browning on the white parts. High variegation plants have less chlorophyll, so your plant will need more light than a lower variegation albo would need, in order to photosynthesize properly. I bet your next leaf will be larger and just as stunning 🫶🏼
