Hey there I just got this misters and it’s definitely new terrain for me! I don’t really know why she’s browning and suggestions? Or any tips that can help would be very much appreciated!!

    She is overwatered I would check the roots for rot, here is a care list Monstera Thai con Light - bright indirect Watering - twice a week if soil is mostly dry (very sensitive to overwatering) Soil - highly recommend repotting in a chunky soil mix Fertilizer- wait about a month or so before fertilizing but when you do use a light fertilizer for houseplants Humidity- needs to be 60-70% (highly recommend humidifier) Propagation - always propagate in areas with nodes , let dry out overnight and then place in water roots should start growing in a week or less. Leaf damage - brown spots are the most common check your plant’s roots for rot, if none seen it could be old damage ( a more common color for old damage is a dry brown color that isn’t soft to the touch) variegated parts will spread the brown color if you do not like this carefully cut around the part of the leaf that is brown or cut off the leaf entirely.

    Varigation (the white spots) lack the chlorophyll. So their cells and tissues are very sensitive to changes in light, humidity and temperature. That’s usually why the variegation turns brown and crispy. I’ve got 2 Thai Cons, Aurea, Crème brulee, white monster, and Lemon Lime. Also have several philodendrons. All are in the same around family. A few tips I’ve learned after losing my first deliciosa. -chunky and well draining soil is a must. -drainage drainage drainage -light is super important -your soil will lose its nutritional value in 3-6 months. So a good fertilizer is a must. -be patient
