I have 2 Monstera Peru plants that I got at the same time and are about the same size. Each plant is about 7 inches tall-soil to end of stem tall, both in 4 inch pots, both have good roots and each pot has 7 leaves. I was thinking about combing them into one 9” pot? What do y’all think of that idea? Or should I keep them separate? I don’t know if it makes any difference, but they were bought at the same time from same seller. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

You can definitely combine if you want. I would unpot them and see how big their root balls are, and base your pot size on that. Should be about 1" more than the rootballs combined

Thank you! I just thought it might make it a fuller looking plant if I put them together and I don’t see a reason to have two separate plants for myself.

I've combined a few. or propped one, and replanted the babies in to fill it out more
