Hi all! I have had this monstera deliciosa for a few months now. It has grown 7-8 new leaves in that time! When I potted it there was about an inch of space around the root ball in the pot for it to grow more. I am aware this is multiple plants in one. I’m worried about it becoming unruly and being difficult to separate down the line. I am curious if I should leave them together for now or separate them out into different pots? If so how many plants per pot and how long will it take the plant to get fenestrations?

    If you fenestration, separate them now, one plant per pot. If you give it good soil and enough light each leaf will be bigger and more fenestrated than previous

    Wow so beautiful! Mine will only produce one large leaf at a time. Currently at 3 leaves😅

    Monstera fenestrations are partly influenced by light. Because the reason for the "windowed" leaves is to allow the sun's rays to pass behind newer leaves and hit older ones below. I'm curious what direction that window is pointing, because if it's not getting enough light then it won't be encouraged to produce fenestrations. I grew my Monstera deliciosa from a seed! Took it around 6 months to get its first fenestration. I'd say if it looks happy and is tolerating its conditions, be patient and let it do its thing. Hopefully it'll surprise you soon with its first fenestration :)
