I have two monsteras that are quite spindly and not doing well. I’ve moved them into a location with more light and have ordered two bendable moss poles since the straight ones didn’t help. Is this too spindly to save?

This is very helpful! I’m planning on using the watering schedule in the app moving forward, but I can see from your post that I should check the soil regardless before I start pouring. Thank you so much for all your help!

The watering schedule in the app should be considered a “suggestion”. There is no way for the app to know the wide variety of growing conditions we all have. I think that monstera will thrive once you back off watering and follow PlantyAnn’s advice on checking the soil. I allow my monstera’s to dry completely between watering and they are getting to the stage of being too big for my space 😬

If they grow too large, can they just be cut back?

I need to repot my monsteras…is there any type of pot people recommend? At the moment, both plants are rather tippy and the pot will also have to accommodate a bendable moss pole.
