First time ever chopping my monstera but should i add keike paste too that severed part (when its calloused over ) so that the plant is encouraged too bring energy too that part?

    Try and chop a little farther down if you can and use supper sharp scissors or shears. I never put anything of my chopped nubs.

    I tend to take chopping a an opportunity to apply keiki paste too! After all, the instructions say to apply it to a cut in the plant and for some reason the idea of cutting into the plant bothers me if I’m not already pruning/propagating 🤷

    In my keiki paste booklet it says to apply the paste to the nodes. So, I don’t apply it to cut ends.
