My monstera adansonii was doing well but all of a sudden the leaves started curling with light, thing spots developing on the leaves. I haven’t changed anything, any tips?

In my personal opinion, I think I’d just let it be for awhile and see if anything happens like rotting, burning, drying etc. depending on how new the leaf is, sometimes they are really delicate and light in color till they age. It could possibly be overwatering but I’d have to see the rest of the plant to say for sure! Hope this helps! New year, new plant problems am I right?
1 mi piacethanks so much! the rest of the plant is okay (besides some old leaves when I forgot to water it lol) it’s just the new leaves
1 mi piaceHow often do you fertilize and what kind do you use?
0 Mi piaceI use a bio based 3-1-5 liquid fertilizer
0 Mi piaceoh also I try to use it every three weeks ish
0 Mi piaceOk I would suggest one with more nitrogen, but that might not be whats causing the problem. Also I don't know how much you dilute it or how often its recommended to fertilize for the fertilizer you're using, but I usually fertilize my monsteras once a month during the winter.
1 mi piaceAlso whats your humidity like?
0 Mi piaceI don’t rlly know but I mist it occasionally. I’m also getting a humidifier tho
0 Mi piaceUsually when there are brown spots on my monsteras new leaves its from low humidity but if you're misting the leaves as they uncurl thats pry not the case.
0 Mi piaceIt could also be not enough light. It does look a bit leggy. Where do you have it?
0 Mi piaceA few feet away from a southeast facing window
0 Mi piaceWhen was the last time it was repotted/ and how often do you water? I hope I'm not bugging you with all these questions
1 mi piaceof course not! Im happy ur trying to help! I repotted it a while ago and I kinda test the soil when I water it I don’t rlly have a set schedule
0 Mi piaceOk good its pry not overwatered then. I'd check and see if it needs to be repotted, if not maybe try scooting it a little closer to the window and see what happens? I kinda doubt thats the issue but its a fairly easy thing to try. Switching your fertilizer might also help. The one I use is superthrive foliage pro, its a 9-3-6 and my monsteras love it. Just try to get one with more nitrogen. It could also be a disease of some sort but I wouldn't have a clue what.
1 mi piaceCheck out what happens when a plant gets too little nitrogen/ too much potassium and see if you think that matches whats happening here.
1 mi piaceokay thanks so much! I’ve moved it closer to the window for now and am gonna let the soil properly drain out. I’ll check its roots…eventually bc I’m high key very lazy lol
1 mi piaceSounds great! They also like well draining soil so whenever you repot next you could add some perlite or bark. I have some in regular potting soil tho and they haven't done anything like this.
