Hello! This is my first monstera and so far it has been growing like crazy. She’s outside on my covered porch, north-facing, in zone 9. Can someone advise on when I should bring her in for the winter? Currently, the lows average around 50F +\- and highs around 76F. One issue I have is very little natural light in my house. When I do bring her in, how do you think she’ll do in a south-facing window? I’m trying to avoid buying grow lights but will if I have to. Thanks in advance.

I would bring her in now with lows in the 50s. I have mine in a southern facing window and she does fine. I do give her a grow light for a boost and she's even more happy. Just back her up from the window so she doesn't burn. Mines about 2 feet back. Also looks like you may have more than one plant in that pot and I would seperate them. They fight for space.

Agreed. You don’t want to risk it getting any colder before you bring it in, and bringing it in now will make it less drastic of a temperature change to get used to when acclimating to indoor room temps.

Great. Thank you. Do you recommend a particular grow light?

I just have some cheap bulbs from the store and I have a hanging pendant kit to hang them over. I don't use anything special.
