I rescued my first Monstera at a STEAL from a big box store since she was in bad shape - looking for general care tips and advice so she can grow big and strong! I brought her home on Friday and a new leaf has opened right up, planning to repot in a better draining soil mix tomorrow to see if we can remedy those brown spots for her next new leaf. I am SO in love already!!

    Yes , once you repot it you will be fine. But also, remember not to pot it in such a big pot. What I have learned they Dnt like to much room. So maybe go down a size

      Yesss she’s in a 10 inch now and I’m gonna grab an 8 inch and a 10 inch just in case there’s more roots than I’m thinking there are.
