Sorta monstera sorta not… I’m excited, got a young spiderman monstera (Amydrium) today from a local seller. New to these and research indicates they can be tricky. If anyone can share any tips I’d appreciate it! Ambient conditions, average humidity about 60%, potted in a semi hydro blend.
these guys are definitely fussy. They like super high humidity levels. 60% is the low low end of humidity for them. They do not like cold, you’ll want it like over 70 degrees… they’ll throw runners then leaves usually. Can be super slow growers if not in ideal conditions. No direct light! Once you’ve found a good spot for it I wouldn’t move it.
