Hello! I am so excited to join this group! I have a question for the community! This is Melvin I got him last August and he has been doing really well. I recently discovered he was actually two plants in one and so he got a sister! Since then, I've been able to see better how his air roots are coming in and in what direction. Do any of you have any suggestions on how best to support him? Right now I just have a wire support that he's loosely attached to but do his air roots need something to cling to? I didn't think you would miss pole a Monstera so what do y'all suggest?? Thanks in advance!!🌿

Moss pole is a great idea for monsteras since their roots grow into it. They can be a b——- to take care of long-term. You can use a wooden board, there’s tons online or you can just get a slab from the store, but depending on what you get (if it has a metal attachment or wooden), it may rot over time if it’s not made correctly. You can use a metal trellis that the plant just leans on and you can redirect the aerial roots back into the pot as they come.
