Hello, I got this monstera last week, and it’s my first time owning one. This pole came with the plant. Should I transfer this to a moss pole? And if so, how do I remove the one that’s already in there? I’m really new to this, so any help I can get is appreciated!
She looks fairly content to me 😍 I wouldn’t disrupt her if it’s not an issue. It’s hard to tell what it’s made of but try to keep it moist as much as possible.

i use a rounded wooden stick and mine loves it! it doesn’t matter what kind of pole you use :)

Naturally monsteras especially you’re Adansonii here, love to grow up trees in nature so that pole would work… However I am team Moss Pole, it gives you a “Propogation policy” and just makes the plant soo much happier and thrive!

I’ve found it doesn’t matter what you use. My monstera is happily climbing an old extendable mop handle.
