Hi all, I have a cutting off of my larger monstera and I’m wondering how long I should leave it until I pot it. I’ve attached the profile for it to this post as well if that helps and I’ve also included some pictures of the roots it’s got. It’s currently been in water for 3 months. Any advice is very appreciated since this is my first time potting a monstera cutting

I prefer to wait until secondary roots appear

It is way more than long enough to be potted up, you could also keep it in the water because they can thrive in just water, but all you need to do is change the water not only for it be put in clean water but also to get fresh oxygen also fertilize it since water lacks the nutrients it needs (only fertilize once a month).

My rule of thumb is 2", then it goes to terrestrial medium
