Hi! I had recently just gotten a Monstera Deliciosa, and I know they like something to climb on, however I’m not sure where to put something like a moss pole because there are many plants in there. Would I need to repot and separate (if so, I would really appreciate any tips)? Or is there a way to keep them together? Thank you so much!

This will be a long one for you guys, as I want to try to be as detailed as I can be…. 1)You’ll spank that container (if you can) to loosen the soil and the roots- because they are multiple plants, planted together. 2) Get as much dirt off the roots as you can and give them a good rinse in the sink (it’s good to spray them with a 70% water 30% hydrogen peroxide solution also, to keep disease and pests away during this process). Try to be careful with the root systems but you can lose some and it will be okay!

      3) Buy a pre-mixed bag of airoid soil mix (I prefer soil-less mix “Forbidden Cereal” now for my monsteras). 4) Depending on the size of the root systems/size of the individual plants & pots you are going to put them in, it may differ. 5) When you have paired your monsteras together pick a plastic pot with drainage holes at the bottom that can comfortably fit the root systems with 2-3” of soil below and on top, possibly more.. Give that pot some spanks so the airoid mix settles around the roots!

      6) Bring it back to the sink and shower the new plant until the soil is thoroughly soaked and coming out of all drainage holes. 7) Place it in a “pretty pot” and give at least 12+ hrs of light a day, mist regularly when the surface or aerial roots look dry and if you’d like add a moss pole (they have manyy different kinds you could choose from). I really hope this helps! & I recommend checking out “Sydney Plant Guy” on YouTube, he gives out amazing monstera/plant advice!
