Sinister Biscuits

My monstera (Swiss Cheese) is pushing out already yellowing and browned leaves. Any ideas what it could be? It’s not the whole plant but I’m curious

    How old is the branch?

Fairly new! I just got this plant a few weeks ago and she’s fairly healthy. The branches where these are aren’t even a full centimeter wide

It could be low humidity or a pest issue 🤔

Low humidity sounds about right. Getting a humidifier this weekend and glad to know that could be one of the things. I have been checking but haven’t spotted any pests

Oh nice. A pebble tray will work in a pinch too. I try to do a bit of misting when I see a new leaf popping out too.

Just a bunch of rocks in a tray next the plant or under?

Under the plant, then fill it with water. As the water evaporates it increases the humidity around the plant. Just make sure the roots/pot with holes aren't sitting in the water. So you don't get an overwatered plant. Heres a pic from the net. They aren't a humidifier obviously, but can help if you can't get one right away. Or misting is an issue
