Hey everyone, I have this HUGE and I mean HUGE monstera and I have no clue what to do with it. It seems to just keep growing no matter what, I see new leaves almost every week. I’m not sure if I should just let it be or try to separate it into smaller ones??? No worries this monstera just got a well needed watering and is perking up like always!

They like crowded roots so if you do decide to repot I’d probably do at least 2 together but you can probably wait quite a while 🤗

i would recommend you repot and rearrange all the stems to climb up a trellis, board, or other wide support. monstera have a face and a backside so i would suggest looking up a few pictures and videos of monstera already trellised to make sure you arrange yours correctly. the aerial roots will face the support and the leaves should point towards the light source. rearranging the stems isn’t necessary but it will make the plant look tidier. it does however require a support for the healthiest, happiest growth.

This is mine. She is 24 years old but when I got mine I didn’t know much about them so I left her alone and she got so unruly that I had a hard time staking her up. Is not to late to use a moss pole( I wouldn’t wait much longer though if that’s what you want to do) mine was flopped over growing on the floor so I cleaned any old and broken leaves, bought 6 foot wooden stakes and staked her up. I faced all the leaves forward and once I did this she took off and now is at least 8 ft tall producing at least 5 leaves every 2 months
