Is this monstera leaf deformed or something? It emerged on june 30 2023 and it’s never hardened and has stayed flopped downwards, the other leaf that came a week before this one is already mature and hardened

Still looks healthy - follow the leaf down to the root to check on its health. I have had a pot of monsteras where one vine started rotting and the others were in fine condition. So it might be isolated to that area.

I have a leaf like that and wanted to ask that same question. It’s my first monstera and it was the first leaf it out that was fenestrated.

I had leaves even smaller and less mature than this never mature! I think it’s cause monsteras are so resilient they will try to grow new leaves even if it’s not in the perfect environment. After a couple years I finally cut off the leaves. They were legit the size of my palm and still wrinkly looking. Yours is gorgeous compared to mine hahaha but it is weird when that happens!

I have one of these too! It emerged while the plant was under stress and it has never recovered. I will eventually prune it but have been prioritising pruning the smaller leaves without fenestration. You’re is still a beautiful leaf!
