So this is my monster I got a year ago and I have been told the the bottom leaf and the 4th leaf need to come off due to a fungus. So that leave me with 4 leaves and I'm just wondering if I should take off the top part and try to propagate it or just leave it alone after I treat it and let new leaves fill it out. I've never had one of these plants before so I'm not sure what to do. Also I'm not sure what type it is or what the best way to propagate it is. Thanks for any assistance with this.

How frequently do you water? You can chop n prop! You could also do a hydrogen peroxide watering (1 part HP to 5 parts water). It aerates the roots, and helps with any fungus in the soil, as well as any insects/pests! Also, I’d up the humidity!

I test with a stick and follow the app but I will water before or after they suggest if the soil is to dry or to wet. I have a fungicide coming from Amazon (should be here today) do you use hydrogen peroxide instead? I've never propagated one of these is it best in water or a soil mix. I think I need to get more spray bottles for all the different ways to cure issues. Lol thanks for the help

Would you remove the leaves with the brown. They have been like that for quite some time. Thanks again

I honestly wouldn’t cut the leaves off! For the hydro watering mix, I’d water with that for 3 waterings, and see how she does! I’d also take a look at her roots! That’ll at least show you if the roots are healthy and if there’s any fungus on them!

One person told me I need to cut it and spray with copper fungicide. I will try your way first cause I do hate to lose the leaves and like I said before they have been like this for quite sometime so it's not spreading fast. Do you put it in new soil after checking the roots if they are ok or just put it back in the same?

Monstera Borsigiana (small form) like Albos have more inner node spacing like a vine. Deliciosa (large form) like Thais have tighter smaller inner node spacing.
