I was wondering if i should repot my thai con as some of the roots are beginning to wander out of the pot, or just leave it be for now. The last new leaf it has was from early January and hasn't grown much since then aside from the roots.

    You could pop it out to see if its root bound. But some root wandering, especially aerial roots is normal for monesteraspecies. I just direct them into the soil/mix

      Good to know! It's my first monstera so I wasn't quite sure why he was poking his little feeties out so much lol I'll probably pop him out to check next weekend when I get a chance while I repot some other plants 👍✨️

    Based off her size and the pot she has good space in the pot, the root climbing its way out of the pot is an aerial root and if you carefully bend and direct the end of the root into the soil it will continue to root and support the plant! (You do not NEED to do this with aerial roots but it will benefit the plant)😊

      Sounds good! I have been trying to do that, but one of the aerial roots has been particularly stubborn about staying out of the soil. Even when i cover it with soil, its popped out the next day XD

    Mine not the variegated variety but I repotted mine when it did this and it worked well.

      :0 good to know! Ill definitely check out the roots and see how cramped it is beneath the soil
