It’s hard to see with these awkwardly angled pics, but thoughts on moving the stem further down into the dirt since there’s so many areal roots?? Will the stem that has nodes grow more roots under the soil or will it cause it to rot?? Thank you!

It's not necessary to move them down. Just keep tucking the aerial into the soil
1 mi piaceYes and if you don’t have any aerial roots in the moss I will suggest you move the pole where the back of the plant is and also I see that all the aerial roots except one that is just growing are already in the soil so no need to move the plant. Like I said if no aerial roots are in the moss pole you probably don’t need it now and when you repot your plant can put in the back
