Hi! I’m a new plant lady and would be curious if I should divide this monstera. He is still in his same pot and soil from the store and it’s really packed tight soil so I think he needs to be repotted but not sure if I should divide him ? Thanks in advance for any recommendations

    Yes, divide it, cut off the yellow leaves, put it into new soil that is chunky! You can check out some “recipes” for chunky soil mix. Usually adding perlite and orchid bark mix. Don’t buy miracle grow brand soil though - fungus gnats will take over your house!!

    yes, repot and separate. because there's two plants i would not up-pot, i would keep the pot it's currently in and put the other stem in a similar one.

      Good idea, I did hear they don’t like to be in large pots
