hello fellow monstera freaks! my monstera is TALL. the first node (?) doesn’t start until where my finger is in that second pic. i would like to shorten her - is it okay to cut below one of the aerial roots (where my hand is in 3rd pic)? appreciate any help!!
That should be fine! She will need to start root growth all over again if you shorten her and I’m not sure if that will have any implications given her size. You have several nodes further down also they just don’t have leaves or aerial roots protruding

Cutting below aerial roots is still probably your best option as it means the plant has some sort of starting root system. Also please make sure you allow your cutting to callus before propping to lower the chances of root rot as it is a beautiful plant!
