Are any Monstera non toxic for cats? Open to similar suggestions. They’re just so beautiful and it makes us sad we can’t have one because most are toxic.

i have a huge monstera and my cats leave it alone. you *can* mist the leaves with lemon oil/juice and use a spray bottle at the cats if they go near it. my 8 year cat used to bother mine when i first got it but my 1 year kitten never touched it (i think my older cat taught him not to). i know it’s a risk but if you have other plants and your cats leave those alone, it’s likely they won’t eat this one.

Fatsia Japonica aka Japanese Aralia is known as the Pet-friendly Monstera Deliciosa alternative. While they don't have the same split-leaf shape, they have a very similar growth pattern, growing tall and wide with large, lush leaves
