Get a moss pole for it and use some plant Velcro tape to support it. Just try not to stick it in the root ball.
2 J'aimei would wait for a moss pole until her nodes grow and that makes her topheavy i have a monstera and im abt to put a mosspole in ill send a pic ltr but if u want her facibg the same direction, grow light on top or against a wall with a window to the side
2 J'aimeI would recommend potting her in a much smaller pot (like a 4-5 inch) with a chunkier soil mix. At this age I prefer to stake with a wooden dowel or even a wooden bbq skewer (only for any needed support if floppy). Monstera thai cons are better crawlers than climbers, but that’s something to worry about when she reaches maturity.
7 J'aimeJust want to second this. Monstera Thai cons are large form monstera, which means they actually don’t need a stake or moss pole. It will size up and fenestrate without. Because the majority of monstera sold are small form, a lot of monstera advice is based on that. But it’s unnecessary work for you and stress for your plant to try to stake it up. I’d move it to a smaller pot (basically the smallest that can fit the root ball; they like to be tight) and, if you can, try to pot so that the front of the plant is closer to the front edge of the pot and the back of the plant is more pointing toward the center, so there’s space for the new nodes to send their aerial roots into the ground. You can consider moving to a larger pot when it reaches the pot’s back edge. For more info on Thai cons specifically I’d check out Sydney plant guy’s videos. I think it’s telling that his whole niche is putting climbing plants on moss poles and he doesn’t use a stake or pole for his Thai.
