Do you guys believe that large form monstera albos exist? There seems to be conflicting opinions online and no official science on it. Some say no but all I find when I look it up is that they're very real, just incredibly rare and expensive. I've only recently become interested in albos and discovered this tidbit of controversy
Yes they are real but I don’t think people sell them , your best bet is buying a smaller one and waiting for it to grow
4 likes i probably won't ever get myself an albo, seems like too much stress. just found it interesting that the idea of a large form albo was such a point of contention. some people believe that albo is specifically a cultivar of m. deliciosa 'borsigiana' and there are no true large form albos
2 likes That could be quite true, I honestly can’t even buy a small albo because they are like 100$ at my greenhouse .

I bought seeds and have been growing my own. Out of ten seeds, three survived beyond a year. Two came out classic green and one is an Albo. It’s taking a long time but I prefer watching the babies grow anyway. 🥰🥰

Wow! Where does one find seeds? That sounds like such a satisfying journey you’ve started. ♥️ I’m like you, big plants are a joy to behold, but the satisfaction of starting something small & watching it get bigger under your care can’t be beat.
