The aerial root is about 6ft long 😂😂 anyways which pot for this root bound guy? The 1 inch diameter bigger orchid pot or the 5 inch bigger grey square pot. I feel like with how it’s growing I’d need to repot again soon if I go smaller and the bigger one is considerably bigger than I’d normally feel comfortable with, but it’s in very free draining soil. I could just leave it but I think the root bound-ness is genuinely slowing growth down now.

    if you add a sphag moss pole you could stay small because it won’t need to do much root business in the soil, preferring to climb. if that’s not your vision, go with the larger pot but water sparingly for a while to it’s not hanging onto more water than it can use

      You’re right I should consider a pole it’s clearly looking to hold on for something with how long these aerial roots are
