I’m new to plants and he is my baby. He is doing good but very droopy. I have had him for a couple of years and I LOVE him. Any advice? Is he ok? He seems to like his new spot in the house. I just don’t want to kill him.

This could be over or under watering. Is the soil moist?

I just watered it today. The soil was dry. I usually water him weekly but not saturate him

Also looks like it wants some sort of support. Trellis, moss pole, etc.

I tried but I’m afraid of breaking the branches. They are super thick and super strong.

you won’t break it — even if you do, it will keep growing if you give it better conditions. look them up in their natural habit, they are prolific

Could be worth taking a cutting and trying to put that on some sort of support so it’s not sprawling all over

It needs light & support — it’s very leggy. I’d chop and propagate and start over. Monstera deliciosa is very hardy as long as it hasn’t been overwatered, and this doesn’t appear to be.

💯 % agree. This one needs a reset. Chop and prop. Start over. Give the extras away to friends.

If you’re looking for a good resource Kill This Plant is great for all things monstera. Initially I had been worried about getting rougher with my monsteras ie. propagating, putting a support on it etc. but like others have said monsters are quite resilient and if you were to do either a propagation or adding a good support, AND lots of natural light (like right up or 1-2 ft away from a window or using a grow light) this monstera should be good to go 👍 please let me know if you have any questions

There’s nothing wrong with your plant, the leaves look green and healthy. You simply need to give the plant a support to climb on like all monsteras need.
