Desperate for help…don’t want to kill this one 😟! I was drastically underwatering my monstera for a while (I took it to a professional and he was AGHAST, immediately gave it water). Now, two brand new leaves have sprouted, yay! But two of the old leaves are yellowing/browning and shriveling. What do I do? It also just got repotted in case that’s relevant!

The leaves look a little droopy which might be repot stress. I think the leaves browning is due to inconsistent watering - if it was being underwatered, the plant was starting to adjust to that. I would try to make any changes gradually Also in case you don’t know, this isn’t a Monstera (although it is called a Mini Monstera) - it’s a Rhaphidophora tetrasperma :)

Thank you!! I had *thought* it didn’t look like a monstera all the way… Do you think I need to get perlite / tropical plant soil? And if so, do I need to wait a bit for the plant to get past its current repot stress?

I would definitely wait for now to let it adjust to the repot
