    Is there a way to shift it back to green and growing healthy?

      no, once the chlorophyll begins to die and it starts yellowing there's no changing it. i'm assuming it was because it was covered by soil and began rotting.

      The rest of the plant is still looking healthy…is that the warning sign of things to come to the tall established leaves?

    I I removed the water from the self watering reservoir, cause I figured it was a too much water issue…
