I am having my first hot summer in Arizona with my Monstera Deliciosa. It is in a plastic pot .I have a humidifier used by it about every other day for 5 hours or so, and water it every 7 days . It’s in bark , coco cora mixture it loves it ,but now the weather is getting into high 90’s and 100 plus degrees, it seems hungry for more water??? Is this normal in hot Arizona??

That sounds like a fast drying medium and with all the extra heat if the soil is drying out, give it more water! As long as the soil is dry before watering again

Sometimes I have a hard time keeping the moss pole hydrated when it’s hot. Mine has a plastic backing to help with that. I also use an inverted wine bottle to water the pole. I find that to be most effective because the moss gets so hydrophobic when it dries all the way out - but disclaimer that the fungus gnats LOVE it 🙄

Thank you I too have a clear bottle to add to the moss pole- weekly and water the bottom. It’s just needing more water I’m assuming
