I recently attempted to repot a huge monstera I’ve been plant sitting for a few years, while my sister has her babies and gets them big enough to not try climbing it 🤣 It snapped off at the base and I could have cried. I replanted it just to see what would happen… and it survived!!! I just tucked some of its aerial roots into the soil and monitored it closely for awhile. It’s put out several new leaves…. And the stump had started sprouting again too 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

I did the same thing with this one omg. But it did take a lot of aerial roots with it so I want too concerned and did the same thing. It's why the bottom looks more full now haha. Now I got 3 prop babies and the bucket almost out of frame in the picture contains a touch of water and a skinny monstera. She was originally 3 joints and sad 6 years ago. And that one didn't get the most support. I kinda wanna gift to a neighbor. I have a hard time tossing plants I've had for a long time haha
