My monsteras been struggling a bit and I need some advice! It’s been very good at pumping out new leaves and it looks pretty full from the top, but the bottom leaves are yellowing. Is there not enough light because the window is too high? Or am I overwatering? Please help 🙏

hi! it may be time to upsize the pot it’s in. mine grew so nice and luscious but the oldest 3 leaves yellowed. otherwise it may be overwatered. i let mine dry out completely before watering.

Could be a mix of things! All things to look into: - repotting into bigger pot. I think yours may need a bigger pot and potentially split into multiple pots! - dust/wipe the leaves down & check for bugs. - are you overwatering? while they do thrive in humidity (since they’re tropical) they don’t need a shit ton of water at their roots (because root rot is a thing!) if you stick your finger in the soil about 2 inches deep and it’s still super wet since the last watering, let it dry out for a while - you CAN (but you don’t have to) cut the smaller leaves on the bottom (like really tiny) if you want bc they may not be working to photosynthesize based on your plants location
