    You don't want to tie up the pertioles just the main back stem bit. They can't move around if you tie them that way

      Well, he doesn鈥檛 have much of that part yet鈥e was spreading, so I wanted to support him up鈥ny ideas?

      Supposed to spread. Hold the main still as advised before and everything will come together. Those stems fighting for their life.

    He looks very unhappy and uncomfortable. He looks like he鈥檚 being choked. I think you should untie and gently tie just the thickest stems. The other smaller ones tend to stand on their own when the big leaves are supported. Gently supported. I would say consider tying to the support again with twine. Maybe that can help. I鈥檓 a newbie though so please take all my suggestions as opinions only. 馃挌馃挌馃挌
