Do Monstera roots normally grow extremely fast? This was a just a cutting in November and now it's already out growing the planter. Should I go up more than 2 sizes or is that going to get me in trouble with potential root rot? Right now she is in a six inch pot.

They can go off occasionally. I wouldn't go up more than 8 or 9. Youll just need to make sure it's good draining (bigger pot means more water and can = root rot) and also that the water is getting to the roots and not just the empty space

I’ve had mine grow super fast too! I have a cutting that is now 10 months old with 2ft wide leaves! Though they do like to be snug in the pot, you’re probably fine going up in size if it’s actively producing new leaves and growing all around. Just keep an eye on it and don’t overwater / make sure you have good drainage.

      Agree with Wolfen - try a 8 or 9
