Help needed!! I purchased this beautiful monstera just over a year ago, and it’s has grown like no tomorrow. Recently it has gotten a little unruly and I am lost!! Many of the branches are growing outwards rather than upwards and I’m not sure if I need to stake it, and if so where, with what and how!?! Currently I’ve used the felt velcro ties to bunch some of the branches together to keep them from drooping, but I don’t think that’s right and I definitely don’t want damage. Any advice would be a great help!!

    Looks like several really happy plants. You could definitely split it up to make it more manageable!

    i would stick a decent sized trellis in there if it were my plant. not a good time to repot if you’re in the northern hemisphere, unless you have artificial heat and light and such for your plants

      i would definitely recommend looking at some pictures or videos of monstera growing wild or up supports in other’s homes. their growth pattern is really interesting and this will give you a good guide for where to place the trellis. the monstera has a face that looks towards the light and a backside that should face the support.
