That’s a nice lookin plant ☺️ Should be good to start out with too. There’s so much advice that really dependent on different factors…. But one thing that might help would be to stick with one type of plant at first. Since you’ve got a monstera here, try to become a monstera master lol. You don’t really need to know EVERYTHING, but keep your eyes peeled for info related to your plant, monstera adansonii, and other members of the monstera genus. Your adansonii (aka monkey mask, aka mini Swiss cheese plant, aka five hole plant, and many other random nicknames lol) will like to be watered when the top layer of the soil is dry. This means that the dirt should be loose and light on the top, but still have some wetness lower in the pot. I like to just poke a finger right in there. The tip of my finger should feel moistness while the first knuckle should be touching dry dirt. If the soil has dried out completely, the leaves closes to the base of the plant may turn yellow and fall off. But adansonii can usually handle a fair amount of beginner mistakes as you learn. Happy growing! 🪴

Hey there! My monstera deliciosa was my first plant I kept alive and it’s still absolutely thriving a couple years later! They are definitely forgiving. Don’t freak out if a leaf turns yellow or brown here and there/falls off - if it’s just a single leaf usually the plant is just fine. I also like to make sure it’s nice and humid especially in the winter! A humidifier or regular misting with a spray bottle works really well
