Hello! My monstera’s leaves are turning brown/yellow. Ive had it for almost a month and a new leaf was going to unravel but doesn’t look like it anymore. It’s been repotted, i also use a mister and grow lights. Checking the moisture in the soil before watering. Very worried here. Any prognosis?

Did you check the roots for root rot? I see a lot of people using various ways to check an make sure the soil dry. There is nothing wrong with that. But if it’s taking 2 weeks for the soil to dry then the plant may be sitting in wet soil for 2 weeks. That’s not good for the plant. I’m not saying that’s what happened but just to point out something to consider. Especially for plants like monstera because they are prone to root rot. So it sounds like you are doing all the things people say to do. Just keep in mind that they like a chunky mix that is well draining. (Check your roots) I’m sorry I just made a long story long! Lol

Thank you i will double check for root rot. Maybe i should get soil that has better drainage? Yes, I’m doing everything right… just am feeling a bit confused on why it’s turning the way it is. I appreciate your help!
