To repot or not to repot? I feel like my monstera is getting a little big for its pot. Might be hard to tell in the photo, but it’s in a 10in diameter plastic pot in a 14in diameter planter. I last watered a couple days ago, but some leaves are still kinda wrinkly. Lots of sources say best time to repot is late winter, so just wanting to see what people think undergoing it. Much appreciation, from a new plant mom.
When was her last repot? Does she have roots growing out the bottom? In my experience, they don’t mind being a little root bound. If there are roots growing out the bottom, I’d definitely repot now. If not, just keep checking that. Sometimes if they are REALLY root bound, you can see them near the top of the pot.
0 likes Thanks for the info! I got her in mid November 2023 and my guess is that she was last repotted early spring 2023. No roots growing out the bottom. Appreciate the insight!
