Hi there!! Iām just wondering what you guys use to help avoid transplant shock. Iāve got this one monstera deliciosa cutting that Iāve been propagating since probably may ish, and as you can see the roots are insanely beautiful. Itās slowly starting to get too big for what I have it in and has another new leaf coming in (the second since propagating it) Iād like to put it in soil soon but Iām afraid of shocking the plant
do not add soil to the water! it will likely introduce microbes that will rot your monstera in that much water. iād plant it in a semi-hydro set up with perlite or leca, add a little bit of superthrive plant vitamins and fertilizer to help it get established, and plant in soil in a few months once itās adjusted to semi-hydro

2 gillningar happy to help. iāve found gradually introducing drought to plants in semi-hydro eases the transition to soil so thereās no stress on the roots
