Hello lovely’s! Can anyone tell me what these little black bits are on my monstera please? It’s not popped out a new leaf in a while and I think it may be down to This! Thank you!!

    Looks like thrips!!! Spray leaves with insecticide 2-3x week (and wipe off leaves when you see thin bugs that looks like grains of rice) I would also grab a systemic insecticide to kill insects burrowing in the soil

    Thank you very much! Is there like a specific brand I should use or can I use and insecticide? I have no idea what the second one is so I’ll look into getting that now! Again, thank you! X

      I have these! I believe they were recommended by another person on this app. They worked well to get rid of my thrips

      You’re welcome!! Good luck, and don’t give up. Just be consistent. It does take a LONG time. I’d suggest that even when you think you’re done, it shouldn’t be harmful to continue to treat a little longer. I try to make it a periodic thing now, just in case
