HELP! My monstera looks like it’s dying 😢 the leaves have started to go yellow and brown and no new leaves have grown in a long time. I follow the watering schedule on this app so I know it’s not to do with over or under watering. I also moved it to my bathroom to see if getting more humidity helped but it’s not worked. Any tips much appreciated! Thanks 😊

PlantyAnn helped me with this exact issue yesterday, I feel your pain. We learned the hard way not to go blindly by the app Luckily I didn’t have root rot yet. If you don’t have root rot, and it’s just super wet I took the pot off and wrapped the soil and roots in newspaper and set it by a dehumidifier. 24 hours later and the leaves are already lifting.

Thank you both that’s super helpful! What are the signs a monstera is water stressed just so I can look out for them in future?

In my limited experience, drooping leaves, marks on the leaves (like you have) I also intend to check the dampness of the roots more, as I do for my other smaller plants. It was just pure laziness on my part because it’s quite a monstrous plant to lift haha
