How much growth/how fast do your monstera dās grow? Iāve had āgus gusā (plant name) since Aug 16, 2023 and heās not slowing down lol. Avg about a new leaf every 2-3 weeks. Do they like to be root bound or when should I start to think of a bigger pot?
They donāt mind being root bound. He looks very happy

Mine is growing that fast too! So impressive! They donāt seem to mind being root bound, but itāll be easier to repot in the future if you donāt let it get too bad. Itāll also take matters into its own hands with suuuuuuper long aerial roots of you ignore it lol

You should repot it in the spring regardless! Just freshen the soil a bit and when you do, the pot should be 1ā-2ā bigger than the root ball so you can get an idea then on if it needs a new pot or not.

is your monstera planted directly in the ceramic? if so, i would repot immediately into a flexible plastic pot. iāve learned from experience it will not be easy to remove a rootbound monstera from a ceramic pot. you may have to break the pot to get it out. typically, monstera will let you know when it needs to be repotted by slowing down new growth
1 gilla Straight into the ceramic pot. Will keep that in mind next time.
