My monstera has this broken leaf, it just droops down like this but i don’t want to cut it off because im guess it still provides for the plant, what can i do to make it stay up more?

IMO - better to cut it off. Out with the old, in with the new. Severely damaged leaves aren’t very helpful for the plant.

I would cut it closer to the base. Is it the top leaf? Or are there more leaves growing from nodes on the stem above and below it?

the broken leaf is not the top leaf i dont think and it seems like it would be fine to cut at the base

If it’s the one at the top right that looks to be closest to the window. Yea, I’d cut it close to the base of the stem and then the last little part attached to the stem will dry up in time and you can pick it off.

Don’t laugh but I’ve used popsicle sticks and toothpicks to try and fix a leaf. If cutting it off entirely would make the plant look aesthetically unappealing you can tape a popsicle stick or something similar to make a splint on the underside of the leaf. I like to leave green leaves on my plants until they totally yellow. They contain mobile nitrogen that can still be used by the plant. But if it’s super ugly making the whole plant look bad I’ll cut it off.
