The leaves on my monstera adansonii are starting to fade/ go pale/ yellow slightly. What could be the cause cause it was slightly darker in coulee when I got it 2 months ago

It looks like a light issue to me 🤔
0 gillningarWhat sorta light issue? Too much or too little?
0 gillningarIt looked to me like it needed more light but I’m not a plant expert. Yellowing of the leaves can be a lot but the way they look to me makes me think it needs more sun?

You could have a variegated andansonii on your hands. If the leaves aren’t falling off after changing color, then I’d venture to say it’s probably just popping its variegation out now that it’s got more light.
5 gillningarYup it is a adansonii aurea, so I was wondering why the green parts of the leaves are going yellow

I’d say you have variegation there. It looks healthy and it appears to have a new leaf coming out. In the third pic bottom right that front leaf has a very defined splotch. A yellowing leaf would probably have a more gradient yellow fade. It also appears to only be happening on one side of the leaf like lots of other variegated aroids. A variegated adansonii is a score!
