I was just given this as a gift and no know nothing about monstera plants. Any suggestions to help this poor guy.

    i’d get it out of that soil and into something really well draining and a bit chunkier. the nursery pot is fine. mine does really well in a west facing window. and east facing would be good too — a splash of sun in the morning or evening with bright indirect throughout the day. a full spectrum grow light works too if you want the plant to remain bushy, id add a coco coir pole for support. if you want it to grow tall, i’d thin it out and add a sphagnum moss pole to the back of the plant.
