What kind of post is best, should I invest in a moss pole? I currently have a stick wrapped in cord.

    No! Just a trellis or stake will do!

    Just a stick can work just fine however, using a moss pole will allow the monstera to attach itself to the pole and can help it thrive and encourage new growth! It is absolutely not necessary however, it’s entirely up to personal preference :D
